VaganteImages is a tool, made by SO4, that helps its users change and extract Vagante sprites. Download It was created because more and more users requested different player skins and since it also would help to give life to this wiki. Browse button is used to navigate to Vagante game directory. Extract button is enabled when any directory is. Vagrant Manager shows you which VM's you have up or halted. VM's that are running, have a green indicator, VM's that are off, display a red indicator.

This tool is capable of extracting and remaking the game assets, allowing you to play with custom skins/sound effects.

As with the older version of this tool, it's open source so there is no risk of it being malicious software.

Last updated for Vagante 1.011.3, tested on Windows and Mac versions

To use, drag data.vra onto vagante-extract.exe. A 'data' folder will be created.

The file 'repack-list.txt' saves the order in which files will be repacked. You probably shouldn't edit this or the game will likely not load.

To repack, drag the data folder onto vagante-extract.exe, and data.vra will be recreated from it.

Browse button is used to navigate to Vagante game directory.
Extract button is enabled when any directory is selected. It creates the vagante_images folder in the same location as .exe and extracts all data.vra images to it.
Remake button is enabled when vagante_images folder is created. It remakes data.vra file with the images provided in vagante_images folder. It can contain only the images that you want to change.

In late 2013, Eugene, Kyle and Keo quit their jobs to found Nuke Nine and ever since, then they’ve been working full-time on Vagante, a platforming adventure game with RPG elements.
